Hier geht es um die PC DVD Version des Spiels! Am besten funktioniert das Spiel unter Windows XP oder Windows 7. Möglich auch unter Linux mithilfe von Wine (https://www.winehq.org) oder auch einen virtuellen PC (VMWare).
Unter neueren Windows Versionen (Win10) gibt es scheinbar große Probleme mit Spielabstürzen -crashes, siehe unten dazu.

Patch v1.35, custom Maps, Mod, OpenSpy modifizierte GRAW.exe kann unter https://graw.oldschoolfun.eu heruntergeladen werden.

Ich empfehle das Spiel auf C:\Games\ oder einer anderen Festplatte/Partition zu installieren. Es ist dann leichter eine oder mehrere Kopien von dem Spiel zu machen. Das ist Sinnvoll wenn du z.B. zum testen verschiedene custom Maps oder auch Mods installieren willst. Das Spiel braucht grundsätzlich keine Registry Einträge. Es kann also auch von einem PC auf den anderen PC kopiert werden.

• Installiere das Spiel von der DVD
• Installiere und update das Spiel mit dem Patch v1.35
• Starte das Spiel (Achtung Kopierschutz  ) und kontrolliere ob alles funktioniert. Richte dir die gewünschten Optionen ein.

Da das Spiel für Windows XP 32bit programiert ist, ist es eventuell notwendig unter Windows 64bit die Eigenschaften für das Spiel anzupassen. Das ist aber nur notwendig wenn du Probleme mit dem Spiel, wie z.B. häufige abstürze usw. hast.

• Wenn du am Desktop eine Verknüpfung zum starten des Spiels hast dann rechtsklick auf die Verknüpfung --> Eigenschaften
• Reiter Kompatibilität --> Programm im Kompatibilitätsmodus ausführen für "Windows XP SP3" anhaken --> OK
• Eventuell auch "Programm als Administrator ausführen" anklicken (ausprobieren)

Wenn du eine modifizierte GRAW.exe (crack/OpenSpy) verwenden willst dann tausche die original GRAW.exe im Spieleordner mit der modifizierten GRAW.exe aus (die modifizierte Datei umbenennen auf GRAW.exe).

I recommend installing the game on C:\Games\ or another hard disk/partition. It is then easier to make one or more copies of the game. Since the game is programmed for Windows XP 32bit, it may be necessary to adjust the properties for the game under Windows 64bit. However, this is only necessary if you have problems with the game, such as frequent crashes etc.

• If you have a shortcut on the desktop to start the game then right-click on the shortcut --> Properties
• Compatibility tab --> Check Run program in compatibility mode for "Windows XP SP3" --> OK
• Possibly also click on "Run program as administrator" (try it out)

If you want to use a modified GRAW.exe (crack/OpenSpy) then replace the original GRAW.exe in the game folder with the modified GRAW.exe (rename the modified file to GRAW.exe).
